About this Resource
In this project, the student can learn about basic features of plants and their habitats. Activities include a reading activity with comprehension activities: labeling, sorting statements to correct or incorrect (yes-no) and a task to identify things a plant needs. This project supports the BC Ministry of Education’s Prescribed Learning Outcomes for Science: Grade 4: Life Science: Habitats and Communities: compare the structures and behaviours of local animals and plants in different habitats and communities.
